Not only is Britney getting her life back on track, she's back in the studio kicking some ass too. Brit is teaming up with J.R. Rotem and Sean Garrett for her upcoming album and they says things are "really shaping up."

"She's great," Rotem told People magazine. "She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. So it's always nice to work with her."

This just goes to prove you can't keep a good bitch down! Work it girl!

Britney Spears is back in LA after a weekend in Costa Rica with her father Jamie and new BFF Mel Gibson.

Brit and entourage are seen arriving via private jet at Burbank airport, and of course the paps were there ready to greet her.

The pap in the video literally follows her clan around singing Kanye's "Superstar." Can't decide if it's funny or annoying, check out the clip for yourself.

Britney's dad Jamie Spears must really want to continue to get his daughter on the right track, because he's now working for her full time.

He even quit his catering job to dedicate himself to her full time. As a result, Jamie requested $10,000 be given to him in back pay to cover the first month of his co-conservatorship of Brit's estate, plus a $2500-a-week salary. And it was granted!

So in a nutshell, Jamie is employed by Britney! Kind of weird!

Who didn't see this coming?!? There are rumors going around that we should expect an Adnan Ghalib and Britney Spears sex tape coming our way. Rumor on the block is that Britney's ex-boy toy is shopping around an alleged tape of he and Britney doing the dirty.

A source said, "Word is that the video starts with Britney undressing," said the insider. "She was wearing some cheap clothes that she bought down there in Rosarito. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout. At one point in the tape Adnan asks the singer to remove the pink bob but she refused. "Adnan tells her to take it off at one point and she says coyly, 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.'"

The good news is that the source is the National Enquirer but the bad news is that it probably does exist. If it in fact true, insiders are saying that it could be the highest-selling sex tape. Britney in a pink wig during her cooky days? Who wouldn't wanna watch that?

Britney is reportedly in negotiations to make a huge comeback in Sin City at none other than the Palms Casino. She met with the Maloof Brothers, who own the Palms, to discuss a possible six show extravaganza.

Britney Spears seems to have the absolute worst luck with cars. It seems she get in a fender bender every month! Brit just rear-ended a Ford Expoler on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills, but luckily no one was hurt. But Britney didn't even get out of the car. Britney Spears and Mel Gibson were spotted boarding a private plane en route to Costa Rica this morning. Don't get all worked up though, Britney's dad Jamie is joining the duo as well.

Britney and her Dad arrived about 5 minutes after Mel, and the plane departed at 9:05 a.m.

Apparently Mel wanted to treat Britney and her father to a vacation. They'll all be shacking up at Mel's home in Costa Rica.

Mel is probably to cash in on Britney being sane again. Hey, she did wonders for 'How I Met Your Mother' so we're sure Mel has a project in the works that he feels Britney would be perfect for.

Word on the block is that Britney Spears is house hunting near her ex K-Fed's home in the Valley so that she can be closer to her two boys.

Brit reportedly has her sights set on a $6 million dollar house in Encino. The house sports five bedrooms and comes with fountains, a jacuzzi, a swimming pool with a spa and a wine cellar.

Now that Brit has been granted more time with her kids, she wants to make sure she can squeeze in all the QT she can get--with court supervision of course.

Star Magazine is stirring up trouble again with a report saying Britney and K Fed have regular phone sex. Wait a sec, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Yes, although the two are in the midst of a custody battle over their two boys, the two are allegedly still attracted to each other…let's rephrase that. Attracted to each other's voices.

Star says: Recently, when Britney was having a sleepless night, she decided to call Kevin at nearly 2 a.m. While they initially chatted about their boys - Preston, 2, and Jayden, 20 months - the conversation shifted. Britney Spears has left the building! Britney was in court for a “progress review” today. She was accompanied by her mom, dad and super lawyer Blair Berk.

Mark Vincent Kaplan just addressed the media. He said:

"The order has remained in place. No change in custody today. It’s a cautious step going forward, we are pleased with the progress...It’s a step in the right direction.

"The children are doing great. Kevin’s goal and his hope is that his children will have the benefit of having two parents who are participating actively in their lives. When that’ll occur, I can’t tell you that. We can only take it one step at a time." The custody case has not been changed but Britney has been given more time with her two boys. There are talks that Britney has been granted 3 days with her boys and that she will probably regain 50/50 custody by summertime, that's if she continues to behave normally.

It’s Britney Spears’ big day in court today. It’s so big that she’s already there! Britney arrived to court with her mom, dad and super lawyer Blair Berk. For a change, she actually arrived dressed decently and even before Kevin Federline. The driver took her to an underground parking lot so no one takes pictures of her. What a change a few months can do!

Britney is in court for a “progress review” today but its unlikely things will change in her custody battle with Kevin. Even though she’s spent that last few months acting like a normal person chances are that the arrangement will not change because she’s still under a conservatorship.

"As long as Britney remains under a conservatorship, she has a long way to go before the court views her as a capable mother," some L.A. attorney that’s not involved in the case told People Magazine.

But this custody case has been anything but ordinary so we’ll see how it turns out. Britney seems to have a great support system so hopefully she’ll be able to see her kids more than the current situation. She is their mother after all!

It was a celebration y'all! Britney Spears caused a media frenzy when she flew back home to Kentwood Louisiana for her pregnant teenage sister, Jamie Lynn's, baby shower.

Aside from the dozens of helicopters that were circling above the family home, it was a fairly normal baby shower. Jamie Lynn was joined by 30 of her closest friends and family.

A source tells People, "Jamie Lynn opened every gift. We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old fashioned baby shower."

Yup, nothing says 'good old fashioned baby shower' like 50 of your closest paparazzi friends trying to break into the house.

Britney Spears has decided to make the big move back to her home town. Ok, not really but according to Life & Style magazine, Britney is heading to Kentwood, Louisiana for her little sisters baby shower.

Britney is reportedly going to head out there today and the shower is going to be tomorrow. Brit-Brit hasn't been to Kentwood since 2006.

“The shower’s on Saturday at Lynne’s house,” a source said. “At first, Jamie [Brit’s dad and also her guardian these days] didn’t think it was a good idea for Brit to go. He thought it might create chaos in Kentwood, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to put Jamie Lynn — or Britney — in the middle of that.

“Britney can’t travel without Jamie’s permission, so she worked really hard to talk him into it; it was so important for her to be there for her little sister. He finally gave in, knowing it’d be good for Brit and Jamie Lynn to finally see each other.”

Paparazzi agencies are probably sending about a gazillion paparazzis to the little town. Stay tuned for the chaos!

This is super news, y'all! Britney has been given the best Mother's Day gift ever! The day with the kids! Her somewhat normal behavior lately must be paying off. Congrats Brit!

Meanwhile, Britney will most probably be heading to court next week for her much anticipated custody hearing. It's sorta gonna be weird seeing Britney show up on time or even show up at all. She really hasn't had any major court dates since her hospital stay.

Remember her last court visit? She went to court, didn't go inside, left court, went to church, went to eat, drove around, changed clothes, and stopped at 10 gas stations while being followed by 60 paparazzis. Highly doubtful daddy Spears will allow any of that sort of behavior. That was when she was under the spell of Sam Lutfi.
